Why is Slaver's Exile not an outpost?
Considering Slaver's Exile serves the same purpose as The Tome of Ages, as access to several elite zones, then why isnt it an outpost?
It feels a bit daft to have to walk there everytime you either want a weapon or to enter 1 of 5 dungeons!
The benefits are obvious!
1) Far easier formation of specialised parties for those dungeons, instead of standing around in the Grotto where people are forming parties for other repeatable aspects of the game.
2) Instant access to weapons without having to walk for 5 minutes.
3) It just makes sense!
The only issue I see is that if a person who hasnt completed the game was to be run there, then it would then apear on their map as an outpost and they would have constant access.
But surely Anet could put a lock on the outpost so you can only teleport there if you have done the last quest?
It also means you can then add a merchant to allow players to empty their bags after doing previous dungeons. It leaves the possibility of adding a new armor crafter if Anet was to add more prestige or full set armors.
I just personally think it makes sense and I see no reason why we have a pointless instance bridging 5 dungeons! Make it an outpost! The place is full of Norn anyway like an outpost.
One thing I believe true, is that you should sepereate those players who are doing elite content, from those who arent. The current situation is you are mixing them in the grotto and we shouldnt be. You shouldnt mix (sorry if this offends) the more hardcore players with casual players, because attitudes dont always go well together.
The way we have TOA and other outposts which link to elite zones in other campaigns! Keep it consistant!
